This is particularly true in the service industry where many factors can contribute to the successful acquisition and retention of a given client. If your customers continue to ask for repeat service than you must be doing something right!

The following charts and graphs include details concerning the food sherpa’s past and current client base from start of business in June 2007 through April 2010.* As of April 30, 2010, the longest service duration for a current client is 28 months.

Average Months of Service & Number of Services by Client Category:  All Clients - 14.00 Months, 27.25 Services; Past Clients - 9.75 Months, 16.50 Services; Current Clients - 18.25 Months, 38.00 Services.

Service Duration for All Clients:  7-12 Months - 12.5%; 13 - 24 Months - 37.5%; More than 24 Months - 12.5%

Service Duration for Past Clients:  7 - 12 Months - 75.0%; 13 - 24 Months - 25.0%

Service Duration for Current Clients:  7 - 12 Months - 25.0%; 13 -24 Months - 50.0%; More than 24 Months - 25.0%
* All figures are for clients who requested more than three consecutive services (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, depending on the client). Figures do not include data for one-time gift certificate services or clients who required assistance on a short-term or temporary basis.
